If a project includes drawings or CAD files, those files may be reviewed by engineering, quoting, production planning, and quality personnel involved in the request.
Information is used to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, evaluate manufacturability, recommend materials or processes, coordinate documentation, and communicate order status. Formlabs may also use aggregated operational information to improve quoting workflows, identify common DFM issues, and make the customer experience clearer. Personal contact data is not sold as a marketing list.
Customers should identify confidential or controlled information before sending it. If a project requires special handling, export control review, NDA coverage, or a restricted file exchange method, the customer should contact Formlabs before submitting sensitive files through a general form. Formlabs aims to limit access to people involved in quoting, engineering review, production planning, quality, and customer support.
Project information may be retained to support quote history, repeat orders, issue resolution, documentation records, and customer communication. Customers may request correction or deletion of contact information, subject to records needed for active orders, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or legitimate business operations.
